While we're on the topic of the weekend, I want to mention that weekends are a PERFECT time to focus on our online job search. I know I've expressed my preference for job hunting Monday-Friday in a recent episode of my podcast (check that episode out HERE).
But I also know most people are busy with their current job and their family during the week, so they may not have much time to apply to jobs then.
Not a problem.
You can use the weekend to strategically apply to online jobs because usually we have a little more time to ourselves. The weekend allows us time to research online companies and positions we're interested in, which is necessary for making a good employment decision.
Here are a few online job search tips for the weekend:
Your online job search doesn't have to take up your entire weekend. You can set aside 1-2 hours of your weekend to focus on applying to jobs, or more if you have the time.
Be persistent and consistent. Apply to as many jobs that are a good fit and do this regularly. Applying here-and-there will prolong the online job search.
Stay motivated and hopeful. There are plenty of companies and online jobs available - many you've never heard of that have 1000s working there. I share leads daily on my channel to highlight that fact.
